We’re Ordinary Kiwis Standing Up for What’s Right
No More Glyphosate NZ isn’t backed by a big NGO or government grant.
It’s a grassroots campaign created by concerned New Zealanders — parents, health advocates, and everyday people — who’ve had enough of chemical complacency.
We’re not here to shout.
We’re here to share facts, empower action, and demand better.
We’re not here to tell you what to think—just to get you thinking. Our articles are deliberately short, concise, and easy to read. We aim to spark conversation, encourage critical questions, and cut through confusion with fact-based, well-referenced content. Whether it’s exposing myths, highlighting emerging science, or challenging assumptions, we keep things grounded, clear, and actionable.
What We Stand For
We believe in:
- Safe food grown without harmful residues
- Honest science that isn’t distorted by corporate interests
- Transparency in how decisions affecting public health are made
- Accountability from both government and industry
- Informed citizens who aren’t afraid to ask tough questions
Glyphosate is just one issue.
But it’s a powerful example of how far we’ve drifted from what’s natural, safe, and sustainable.
Why This Site Exists
This campaign was born when we learned that New Zealand’s Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) was quietly proposing to increase the allowable levels of glyphosate in food.
Not reduce. Increase.
Despite global concern. Despite scientific red flags. Despite rising public awareness.
So we did what anyone would do:
We got informed. We got loud. And we got organised.
This site is our collective voice — a space to gather evidence, raise awareness, and help more people take meaningful action.
Who’s Behind This?
We’ve been asked: “Who’s behind this campaign?” “Why aren’t your names on the site?” And “Do you have relevant qualifications or independent funding?”
Here’s our honest answer.
We are not researchers or politicians or public health officials. We’re not funded by a university or a foundation or a faceless organisation. We’re parents. Concerned citizens. New Zealanders who have lived long enough to see how these things unfold.
We remember the reassurances about DDT. About tobacco. Lead in petrol. Asbestos in our walls. We lived through the slow unfolding of those truths—too often, unable to do anything about them. But now, with glyphosate, we believe we can. And so, we are.
We receive no institutional or “independent” funding—just small contributions from individuals who believe in transparency, accountability, and protecting public health.
We’re not trying to be anonymous—we’re trying to stay focused. This campaign isn’t about personalities or credentials. It’s about asking better questions, challenging comfortable narratives, and refusing to wait for permission.
We think.
Therefore, we can question.
And we believe that’s where change begins.
