We’re a small, independent, community-funded project doing something no one else in New Zealand is doing: testing everyday foods for glyphosate-based weedkillers using accredited laboratories — without industry funding, government backing, or commercial influence.
Every jar of honey, every box of cereal, every loaf of bread we’ve tested has been made possible because ordinary New Zealanders decided this work mattered.
Our promise is simple:
100% of public donations go directly to lab testing — not salaries, not admin, not overheads.
Because independent testing stops the moment funding stops.

Why Your Support Matters
Glyphosate is New Zealand’s most widely used herbicide — yet the foods we rely on most are rarely tested, and the last full-scale government residue survey was almost a decade ago.
Independent testing is currently the only way to understand what’s actually turning up in:
- cereals
- oats
- bread
- honey
- and other everyday foods
Every result sends a quiet but unmistakable message to food companies and regulators:
New Zealanders are paying attention.
Testing isn’t cheap — but it’s powerful.
Where Your Donation Goes
We use only IANZ-accredited laboratories, so our results can withstand scrutiny.
Typical NZ lab fees:
- Honey: $80–$125 per sample (Hill Laboratories: $106.60)
- Multi-ingredient foods: $350–$500+ per sample
We cover additional costs ourselves, including:
- purchasing products
- sterile containers
- courier fees
Every dollar you give directly increases the number of tests we can run.
And if we ever need to put donations toward anything else, we will tell you — openly and specifically.
100% Transparency
We publish every result.
We disclose every ingredient and every lab.
We never accept free products from producers.
This project exists because New Zealanders deserve to know what’s in their food — and because no one else is doing this work.
Thank you for helping make it possible.
